In accordance with Notary Public regulations, certain precautions must be taken prior to the notarization of documents:
The document or form requiring notarization should be completely filled out.
We do not draft documents or assist with their completion.
All signer(s) must present an original, unexpired federal or state-issued photo identification.
Additional fees may be applicable for extra services, including but not limited to printing and travel expenses.
Signer(s) must be of sound mind, attentive, and mentally capable.
The signer must willingly wish to sign the document being notarized.
Reasons for Non-Notarization of Your Document:
The signer is not physically present during the appointment.
The document is incomplete or left blank.
The signer has been legally declared mentally incapacitated and has not regained capacity as officially recorded.
The signer is unable to provide acceptable identification.
The signer appears to be under the influence, sedated, or disoriented.
The notary has knowledge of or suspects that the transaction is unlawful, false, or misleading.
The notary believes the signer is being coerced or lacks an understanding of the implications of signing the document.
The signer or witnesses decline to sign the document.
